Creating High Performing Management Teams
Improve Performance, Increase Productivity, Foster Teamwork and Create Positive Change within the Organization

Managers are confronted with dramatic changes in the workplace firsthand, from executive suite to shop

floor. Technology has made people and information accessible, anywhere, anytime. Demands for instant performance are becoming the norm. Teamwork, positive attitudes, change management and effective communication skills are crucial to personal and organizational success.

As your organization continues to grow and change this will require that work gets done by people coming together to accomplish common goals, then splitting apart to face challenges in their work area. Success will depend on a leader’s ability to understand and work from their strengths, relate positively, and adapt quickly while developing and inspiring their team.

Creating High-Performing Management Teams Process is a 6-12 month people-development strategy to help managers discover and capitalize on their strengths and use those strengths to do great things within their organization. It’s designed to help managers understand how to effectively manage themselves and others while developing positive working relationships. Creating a positive work environment is key to the growth of any organization.

This process is designed to help your management team:

  • Improve communication skills – which results in fewer errors and do-it-again projects.
  • Understand roles and goals – which results in personal responsibility and accountability.
  • Learn to solve people problems – which results in reduced conflicts and less stress.
  • Discover & capitalize on strengths – which results in improved job performance.
  • Create collaborative working relationships – which results in greater efficiency & cooperation.
  • Develop effective self-managing strategies– which results in focusing on priorities.
  • Develop good decision-making skills – which results in reduced project cycle time.
  • Manage time more effectively– which results in increased productivity

The Creating High Performing Teams process incorporates the highly acclaimed DISC model of human behavior, and includes other optional assessments as well. DISC provides a non-judgmental language for exploring behavioral issues. The DISC profiles help people understand their behavioral style, develop the ability to read other people’s styles, and learn how to relate to people more effectively.
Managers become more effective in their ability to inspire, reward, and appreciate their employees based on individual behavior styles. Leaders learn how to adapt their style of leading/managing and coaching to bring out the best in their teams.

Help your leadership team learn to lead and perform in today’s team-oriented, diverse and information-driven workplace. Managers will discover and capitalize on their strengths, learn to value differences and develop positive communication skills to work together effectively.

This skill-building process has managers engaged and actively involved in the learning. This is not a “sit-and-get” process. Participants roll up their sleeves and dig into tough people issues and learn the critical skills needed to turn low-functioning teams into high-performing teams.
