What is an AiA Certification Program?

This AiA Train-the-Trainer program is for trainers, managers or consultants who want to be qualified to deliver this program within their organization.

Step One: Trainer candidates attend a three-day AiA seminar in a participant role. As a participant of the seminar, each Trainee will experience the program in its entirety to fully prepare them to professionally deliver the program within their organization. Trainees respond to projects, participate in the exercises and activities as they experience this program for their own personal and professional development. Trainees therefore, become better equipped to facilitate this program as they share their own personal insights and professional growth strategies as a result of experiencing the program.

Step Two: Trainees attend a three-hour train-the-trainer session which covers a thorough overview of the leader’s role and facilitator’s guide. Trainees explore the use of props and trainer tools that are essential to the success of the program. Time will be spent assisting each Trainee to personalize the program to meet specific organizational goals.

Outcomes of the train-the-trainer session include:

  • learn how to facilitate the program
  • develop a thorough understanding of how to apply this program to current organizational challenges, issues and professional development strategies.
  • learn to use adult leaning methods that are research based and help people learn and apply new information and skills more readily on the job.
  • explore delivery options and pre seminar assignments that prepare participants for the seminar experience.
  • design a post seminar follow up process for your organization that is doable and enhances the sustainability of the program.
  • create a customized application plan and a performance improvement strategy for the organization.
